These are the classic Madagascar Hissing cockroaches. They're big, roachy, and adorable! Well, in my opinion they are at anyway :) . They are easy to keep and always make a big impression. These are almost certainly hybrids with other hissing cockroach species, as pure Gromphadorhina portentosa are very rare to nonexistent in the pet trade. $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for small nymphs.

Simandoa Cave roach
Simandoa conserfariam
SOLD OUT

The Simandoa Cave roach is a beautiful African roach species. As you can see from the photos, the nymphs are as stunning as the adults. This species is believed to be extinct in the wild, as the only known wild habitat they've been found in was destroyed by a bauxite mining operation in 2004 soon after the species was first described by scientists. While their story is tragic, the silver lining is that some individuals were collected prior to the destruction, and the species lives on in the pet invertebrate hobby. They are a medium sized roach. They are fairly long lived, hardy, and easy to breed. They are able to climb glass and don't burrow. They are very fast, which makes it a bad idea to handle them, unless you want to be scurrying around on your hands and knees frantically trying to catch them (I've been there). Small nymphs are available for $5.00 each.

Ghost Mantis
Phyllocrania paradoxa
SOLD OUT

The Ghost Mantis is incredibly popular in the pet mantis hobby, and for very good reason. They are very beautiful and exotic looking, yet incredibly easy to keep. Unlike some praying mantis species, they have no specific temperature requirements, and most are not picky eaters. Nymphs no younger than L2 are available for $10.00.

Firefly Roach
Schultesia lampyridiformis

The Firefly roach is a beautiful and active roach. They are firefly mimics (hence the name). Their activeness and size make them convenient feeders. L1 nymphs are Hydei fruit fly sized, and adults are medium cricket sized. While not ALL predators will take them as readily as crickets, they have still saved me a lot of time and money by feeding the ones that will. 15 nymphs of mixed size for $10.00.

Florida Ivory Millipedes
Chicobolus spinigerus

Florida Ivory Millipedes are among the most popular pet millipede species in the U.S., and for good reason. They're beautiful, fairly large (adults reaching about 4"), plentiful, and active. While most millipedes will spend the vast majority of their time burrowing in the substrate, these guys and gals tend to roam around on the surface. $5 each.
